 Dan from California shares a picture of an unannounced Beanie Baby. This new licensed style is patterned after a very popular commercial character -- the Energizer bunny. According to Wikipedia.com:
The Energizer Bunny is the marketing icon and mascot of Energizer batteries. It is a pink rabbit that beats a bass drum and wears sunglasses and blue sandals and has been appearing in television commercials since 1989. The Energizer Bunny does not appear in Europe and Australia where the rival Duracell Bunny is seen instead.

 Yesterday, Ty introduced Pilgrim the bear, a Ty Store exclusive. This Thanksgiving Day-themed Beanie Baby is reminiscent of Plymouth the bear, which holds a baby turkey in its hands. The Name of that Cat

 Several readers wrote to me, saying that the "wildcat" that I had posted in yesterday's column is a character in the animated series, Go, Diego, Go! According to Wikipedia.com, Go, Diego, Go! is:
... an animated series for pre-school aged children [and] is a spin-off of Dora the explorer.... The show features a bilingual, eight-year-old boy, Diego Márquez ..., who helps animals in danger, mainly in the rainforest. He has a jaguar companion named "Baby Jaguar" who assists him on adventures.
So Baby Jaguar appears to be the name of this Beanie Baby. We will know for sure sooner than later. To see a picture of Diego and this feline, click here.

  A source shares early pictures of the November 2007 introductions with us. At least 24 new styles will be introduced to Ty retailers in the USA next month.
Bean Watcher comments: (1) Street Sense and Smarty Jones are likely licensed Kentucky Derby beanies. (2) The wildcat beanie appears to be a licensed plush toy.

... the time of opening Door 10 is still 8.30am, and they will start selling at 9am - personally I think this invitation may have been prepared before they made the arrangements about the queuing/security systems reported earlier.
